Camping 2013
We went camping at Sand Lake for the weekend. We had a great time and all came home very tired. The weather was fantastic :)

Gone fishing....
We have been fishing at the locks over the past couple of weekends. Gracie and Mya have caught several fish, Mick caught one and I have caught nothing, but I will try again.
The girls were in a concert at school and it was fantastic!

A few things we have been up to
It has been a busy few weeks in our household. I wrote my car off about three weeks ago. It was very scary and I am so glad I didn't have the children in the car with me. Anyway, I am so pleased with my new van :)
We went to the Cataraqui Reserve (north of Kingston) to see how maple syrup is "made" today and how it was "made" many years ago. It was lovely and will be on the calendar for next year! The weather was perfect too.
Over the Easter break, Gracie and Mya did some painting. They turned out very well and the masterpieces are hung up in their bedrooms.
Mya turned 7 two weeks ago and she had her birthday party at the movie theatre last Sunday. She was so excited and everyone had a good time.

Winter picnic
We went for a winter picnic yesterday. It was lovely to get out for a few hours and the sun was shining on us. It was bitterly cold and by the afternoon we were all cold and ready to come home.
It was so cold that the coffee froze!

Gracie's 9th birthday party
Gracie had her birthday party this weekend. It was a sleepover party.
It went so well and everyone had fun! The highlight was the blind folded makeovers.

Snow storm
The snow storm that was in America arrived here last night and it hasn't stopped snowing yet. Mick was supposed to be at work today, but there is no way we can travel anywhere. Two feet of snow on the drive!
