Super size cereal

Mick and I had a lovely day out today.  We went shopping in Watertown, NY - just the two of us!  We bought a few things and couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase this cereal in Walmart.  It cost equivalent to around £3 per bag of cereal and they are 2 lbs each!                                                      

Christmas has arrived early

We haven't got our proper Christmas tree up yet as it is only November!  But Gracie and Mya are so excited about Christmas that they have put their trees up. 

Halloween 2012

Gracie and Mya were super excited about Halloween.  We went to Seeley's Bay for trick or treat and they each came home with a carrier bag absolutely full of candy - it should last until Christmas!  Ofcourse Mya couldn't possibly wear the same outfit all day and evening.  She was a vampire for school and a pumpkin for the evening.  Gracie was a witch (she borrowed my broom for the night so I had to walk).

Lyndhurst Turkey Fair

Today was the turkey fair at Lyndhurst, which is about 10 minutes from Elgin.  We had a fantastic day and the weather was perfect :)

First lost tooth

Mya's tooth has been wobbly for ages and it finally fell out last night.  She was so excited about the tooth fairy coming, and luckily she did :)   

New deck

Mick has finished the deck and it is great to be able to sit outside and BBQ again.  Just the deck around the pool to do now, but that will have to wait until the spring.

 

First day back to school

School opened yesterday and Gracie and Mya were very excited to be going back and seeing all their friends :)
