Snow storm

The snow storm that was in America arrived here last night and it hasn't stopped snowing yet.  Mick was supposed to be at work today, but there is no way we can travel anywhere.  Two feet of snow on the drive!

Christmas eve

A white Christmas......Canada never disappoints!  Merry Christmas everyone. 

Christmas festivities

The children had their concert at school on Wednesday evening.  The performances were excellent and got us all in the Christmas spirit :) 

 

Last night we went to Lower Beverley Lake Park to see the Christmas lights and Santa.  The park is in Delta which is about 10 minutes from our home.  It is free to go to and was absolutely fantastic.  We went on a wagon ride through the park and met Santa and Mrs Clause.  We had hot chocolate and cookies outside standing around a camp fire.  

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...

It has been a very busy day for us all today.  We bought our Christmas tree this morning, decorated it and put the outside light up.  This evening was a "pot luck" dinner at the church and the girls were in a play.  The play was lovely and they remembered their lines :) 

Super size cereal

Mick and I had a lovely day out today.  We went shopping in Watertown, NY - just the two of us!  We bought a few things and couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase this cereal in Walmart.  It cost equivalent to around £3 per bag of cereal and they are 2 lbs each!                                                      

Christmas has arrived early

We haven't got our proper Christmas tree up yet as it is only November!  But Gracie and Mya are so excited about Christmas that they have put their trees up.
